Young North Harbour rugby player Rudi Wulf has been selected in the New Zealand Sevens training squad for the two remaining IRB tournaments in Paris and London.
Wulf broke his neck earlier last year in a swimming pool accident, at one stage he was not expected to play again.
He has played a few games back in Harbour club rugby and has now been elevated to the sevens squad.
Highlanders wing Roy Kinikinilau has also been brought back into the fold by coach Gordon Tietjens.
