All-conquering New Zealand hope to maintain their unbeaten record and wrap up the international sevens rugby series in the Adelaide leg this weekend.
Captain DJ Forbes said after last week's victory in Hong Kong, where they stretched their lead to 38 points, his teammates spoke about going allout to protect their unbeaten run this season.
"It's possible, it's one thing we want to do now because it is in our reach," he said.
"It's never been done so we'll try to be the first to try and clean sweep the competition - it'll be tremendous, great."
Winners 26-12 over South Africa in last weekend's Hong Kong final, the New Zealanders proved a class above the rest with their ability to outmuscle the opponents and turn over possession in tackles.
Winning in Adelaide would mean New Zealand's eighth world title in nine seasons of the competition. They are on a 42-match winning streak in the series and have won a record seven tournaments in succession. Fiji are the only other winner.
Scotland, Argentina and the Cook Islands are their pool opponents tomorrow ahead of anticipated clashes with nearest rivals, South Africa and Fiji on Sunday.
