NZ win Los Angeles sevens

New Zealand have won the Los Angeles round of the International Rugby Board sevens tournament, beating Argentina 34-5 in the final at Carson, California today.

In a repeat of the final last weekend at Wellington, New Zealand had too much class for the South Americans, leading 17-5 at halftime and scoring six tries to one.

It was New Zealand's third consecutive win in the IRB series.

Earlier today they beat Australia 31-12 in the semifinals and Fiji 21-7 in the quarterfinals.

Argentina beat England 17-0 in the semifinals and South Africa 7-5 in the quarterfinals.
