France win sevens title in Paris

France has taken out the final round of the World Sevens Series in Paris.

The French beat Fiji 28-19 in the final, to seal their first ever title on the world circuit.

Earlier they downed New Zealand 14-12 in the semifinals.

The Kiwis beat Scotland 29-7 in the quarterfinals while France knocked out last week's champions South Africa, with a 27-10 victory.

New Zealand had already wrapped up the overall title after making the quarterfinals in London last weekend.
