Argentina will play their final Rugby Championship test against the Wallabies at Twickenham.

The teams will play the revenue-sharing international on October 9 (NZ time) in a return to the venue where the Wallabies won their World Cup semifinal clash 29-15.

It is the first Championship test to be played outside the four core countries-New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Argentina.

Tickets go on sale later this week and start at 45 pounds sterling for adults and 20 pounds for children under 16.

"While we witness the daring and exciting brand of rugby played by southern hemisphere teams on a regular basis, last year's Rugby World Cup well and truly showcased that skill and flair to the rest of the world," Sanzaar ceo Andy Marinos said. .

"Aligned with our intent to take this product across the globe, Argentina have embraced this by moving one of their home fixtures to Twickenham thereby affording an ever growing fan base in the United Kingdom with the opportunity to see two of the world's most entertaining teams to compete for one of the world's toughest trophies in front of a passionate rugby crowd at Twickenham."

UAR president Carlos Araujo said rugby interest in Argentina was growing and after seven domestic Super rugby matches, the Pumas would play the Boks and All Blacks at home before taking their final clash to Twickenham.

ARU boss Bill Pulver said Sky Sports figures indicated there was huge interest in the Rugby Championship and this was a chance for fans in the UK to see a match live.
