After almost three weeks in hospital Chiefs Assistant Coach Andrew Strawbridge has been discharged from hospital.
He'd fallen critically ill with an eye infection, while in Samoa for the Samoa vs All Blacks Test match earlier in the month.
Mr Strawbridge says it has been a traumatic journey and he
is realistic that it will take a while for him to fully recover.
He also thanks all those involved in his recovery so far.
"Especially my lovely wife and sister who have been simply amazing during this ordeal."
