"It was good to meet a few of them and just see how normal a people they were and why they're so good was obvious.
"They're just everyday people that haven't gone beyond their success, they've just stayed in touch with reality and I think that's a big thing.
"You see some sporting stars that carry on like kids really and these guys are just so mature and just taking everything in their stride and that's what gets other people involved."
Waller predicts the All Blacks will continue their dominance during their end of year tour to the northern hemisphere.
"I'm sure they'll meet their challenges along the way but like every great sporting team, when you do get beaten, it actually takes you to a new level.
"They will be right in the northern hemisphere and again, everybody looks at New Zealand to say 'wow how dominant is this team from such a small population'."
