The Stats Don't Lie: Not one for the scrum fans

This was the first time the All Blacks have clocked up 50 points on Argentinian soil, their previous best score being a 36-6 victory in Buenos Aires in 1991.

Once again the Pumas were the first to score a try in this test from a set piece move off a lineout in the All Blacks' half. Fullback Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino, who made the initial linebreak, was also the top off-loader in the tackle in this match with a total of three.

Despite only playing 59 minutes of this match, Richie McCaw again led the way for arrivals at the breakdown with a total of 20, and also made the second most ball carries for the forwards with six runs for a gain of 12 metres.

Brodie Retallick was the All Blacks' top lineout jumper with three takes, and also made 11 tackles and three assists, with just two misses.

Ma'a Nonu had a great all-round game making seven tackles and two assists, one linebreak to set up Aaron Smith's try, and scoring a try himself.

Cory Jane was the top ball runner in the match with eight runs for a total of 115 metres. Jane's third try, the seventh of the game for the All Blacks, also brought up 200 Tri-Nations/Rugby Championship tries for New Zealand.

The All Blacks made just five handling errors in this game, with knock-ons coming from Read (2), McCaw, Dan Carter and Julian Savea.

The Pumas made a total of 10 knock-ons, twice passed the ball into touch, and had two passes intercepted - the second of which resulted in Jane's third try of the match.

The All Blacks missed just 12 tackles in this game, with Tony Woodcock (three) and Retallick (two) the main offenders.

The All Blacks conceded 12 penalties in this match, with eight of them coming in the second half. Sam Whitelock was the most penalised All Black, conceding a total of three breakdown penalties.

There were only six scrums in this test match, five fed by the All Blacks and just one by the Pumas.

Rodgrigo Roncero became the most capped prop for Argentina, with this game having been his 49th start. He has now played a total of 54 tests for his country.

When Carter landed his second goal kick of the match (a penalty) he brought up 500 Tri-Nations/Rugby Championship points.

Jaun Martin Hernandez brought up 100 test points with his penalty goal in the 27th minute of the game.
