2nd minute: Lions captain Gareth Thomas stuns the All Blacks as he darts off his left foot through a yawning gap 15m to score under the posts. Jonny Wilkinson coverts. Lions 7-0.

8th: Daniel Carter opens the All Blacks' account with a 40m penalty goal after Lions No 8 Ryan Jones is ruled offside at a ruck. Lions 7-3.

16th: Lions hooker Steve Thompson penalised for entering a ruck from the side. Carter goals from 15m. Lions 7-6.

18th: All Blacks' first try after Thomas drops the ball on attack, Carter runs 50m through the attempted tackle of Gavin Henson before an in-pass to captain Tana Umaga who scores near the posts. Carter converts. All Blacks 13-7.

26th: All Blacks second five-eighth Aaron Mauger penalised for stepping through a ruck. Wilkinson goals from 5m in from the left touchline. All Blacks 13-10.

28th: Carter kicks his fourth consecutive goal from 25m after the Lions penalised for killing the ball at a ruck. All Blacks 16-10.

31st: All Blacks lock Ali Williams penalised for killing the ball at a ruck. Wilkinson goals from 42m. All Blacks 16-13.

34th: Wing Sitiveni Sivivatu scores the All Blacks' second try in the left corner after a neat offload from Mauger and wide basketball pass from Rico Gear. Carter misses conversion. All Blacks 21-13.

Halftime: All Blacks 21-13.

41st: Lions penalised for offside at a ruck. Carter goals from 30m. All Blacks 24-13.

44th: Magnificent solo try from Carter who receives a wide pass 35m out, grubber kicks, chases and scores in the right corner. Adds the icing with sideline conversion. All Blacks 31-13.

60th: Lions suffer double injury blow, with Wilkinson forced off with a shoulder injury and replaced by Stephen Jones. Prop Gethin Jenkins also departs. Meanwhile Carter goals from 40m after Lions penalised for killing the ball. All Blacks 34-13.

66th: All Blacks make double substitution with halfback Justin Marshall and flanker Sione Lauaki replacing Byron Kelleher and Jerry Collins. Lions hit back when Dwayne Peel works the blind and Simon Easterby scores in the corner. Jones misses conversion. All Blacks 34-18.

69th: Another Carter solo try, ignoring a three-man overlap to run 30m to score. Carter converts. All Blacks 41-18.

77th: All Blacks flanker Richie McCaw plunges over to score from a maul. Carter converts from wide out. All Blacks 48-18.

80th: Lions replacement Shane Horgan claims a consolation try amid a pile of bodies but video referee Mark Lawrence disagrees.
