Rugby: Carter to miss another game

The Crusaders will be without All Blacks first-five Dan Carter for a fifth straight week.

Carter continues to work his way back from a hamstring injury sustained in round six against the Sharks and won't play the Stormers in Cape Town on Sunday morning.

Coach Todd Blackadder says Carter needs more time.

He says Carter will train fully with the team but needs another solid week under his belt before getting game time.

Prop Ben Franks has also been ruled out due to a back injury.

But Blackadder's confirmed Kieran Read will return from his two-week sabbatical with Richie McCaw moving to the side of the scrum.
