A large group of All Blacks players and management took a different approach on how to spend a day off in Argentina - hosting a training session at a maximum security prison.
Mental aptitude coach Gilbert Enoka, scrum coach Mike Cron and 13 All Blacks players visited the Fundacion EspartanosPrison in San Martin where they trained with 60 prisoners who form the facility's Spartans rugby club.
Awesome day visiting FundaciĂłn Espartanos Prison. These inmates are apart of a programme that has a restorative approach to re inter-grating them back into society. Rugby plays a vital role in their learning #Teamwork#Respect - blessings brothers the future is bright â€ïž pic.twitter.com/651ZnPvU74
The session lasted about 90 minutes and the All Blacks gave the Spartans a signed shirt which the prisoners will hang in their club headquarters, and performed a haka.
