Some overdue good news for Canterbury fans starved of All Blacks action.
Christchurch's lack of an international capacity and quality stadium, means test match rugby will bypass the city for the forseeable future.
However, the All Blacks will play a warm up squad hit-out against each other and Canterbury players,
in Christchurch.
The match will be scheduled somewhere between the Super Rugby final on the 4th of August, and the opening Bledisloe Cup clash in Sydney on the 18th.
Radio Sport understands the hit-out will follow a similar format to the game of three halves that the All Blacks used last year.
