Outside of his scoring, this will be one Barrett will want to forget in a hurry with several errors - both with ball in hand and from the boot.

Needed just one carry to remind everyone how dangerous he can be with the smallest amount of space, but ultimately struggled to get involved.
Rieko Ioane - 7
A performance to add to the competition in the midfield, Ioane was impressive on the attacking end and looked the most likely to make something happen for the All Blacks.
Quinn Tupaea – 5

Chalk this one up as a learning experience for the young midfielder, who had some moments to remember but just as many, if not more, to forget.
George Bridge - 4
Had a number of opportunities to make his mark on the game but let the majority of them slip between his grasp.
Richie Mo'unga - 4
Failed to assert himself on the game and had some costly lapses as he struggled to deal with the fast and physical French side.
Aaron Smith – 5
Showed good vision and veteran savvy at the ruck with his pass selection and was able to milk the odd penalty. A solid effort after missing the rest of the tour.
Ardie Savea – 7

While the team started slow, Savea was on from the outset and worked hard at both ends to keep his side in the game. Was ultimately rewarded with a try.
Sam Cane – 8
Was quick to get to the clean out and needed to be as the French often had the All Blacks under pressure. Immense in the contact areas.
Akira Ioane - 5
Did some good work in the contact areas but outside of that he didn't feature much as he couldn't find the opportunities to use his strong running game.
Samuel Whitelock - 7
Good at the set piece, worked hard to match the physicality of the French side and did plenty of work around the breakdown.
Brodie Retallick - 8
A massive stint from the workhorse in the engine room, making important tackles, getting to the breakdown and contesting the lineout.
Nepo Laulala - 5
Stepped up to the physical demands of the game in most areas, but did come off second best against his French counterparts.
Dane Coles - 5
Good at the set piece and in contact, he tried to lift the side through his play but did have times where he overplayed his hand a bit.
Joe Moody – 5
Put in plenty of work cleaning out the breakdown and was quick to get there, but the physicality took its toll and he was taken off early.
