At Dunedin Airport yesterday morning, Smith told the Herald on Sunday he was looking forward to getting home - but would not answer questions about whether he had spoken to Voykovich.
He left the airport accompanied by agent Warren Alcock and NZ Rugby media manager Juli Clausen for the home he shares with Voykovich.
Smith has already been handed a one-match ban by All Blacks management after it emerged he had taken part in an incident in a disabled toilet at Christchurch Airport.
He is due to face a disciplinary hearing this week.
Smith was wearing his All Blacks team gear when he was involved in the toilet liaison two weeks ago.
Witnesses said the pair were in the cubicle for several minutes as the team prepared to fly out to Argentina on September 18.
