Chris Rattue analyses the best and the worst performers in the All Blacks' record-breaking victory over Australia.

Ben Smith 9
Class - the speed of thought and action - shone through despite the muddle in front of him.

Israel Dagg 6
One top defensive read on Folau apart, not much doing this time - headed one high ball.

Anton Lienert-Brown 6
Great start with smart try but faded on attack and had defensive problems, particularly with Folau.

Ryan Crotty 8
Defensive masterclass, and physical, busy test. Got up quick on the dangerous Folau.

Julian Savea 7
Something pushed his button in the second half and thoughts of Naholo suddenly disappeared. Rampaging try past Speight and over Frisby the highlight.

Beauden Barrett 3
Aliens have stolen our Beaudie. Did nothing and shocking goal kicks put All Blacks under pressure.

TJ Perenara 8
Great charge down try. Won a couple of turnovers. In the thick of it.

Kieran Read 7
Some important moments but captaincy didn't shine in the messy parts. Fooled by Foley, but saved by non-try ruling.

Matt Todd 8
Turnovers helped keep Aussie at bay. Terrific, physical test although Arnold went through him for try.

Jerome Kaino 7
A couple of brutal tackles and rugged effort although Squire offered more running.

Sam Whitelock 6
Didn't impose himself on the game despite making plenty of tackles.

Brodie Retallick 8
A couple of bloopers including dropped kick off but still humming to the end.

Owen Franks 6
Aussie scrum was on the verge of cracking. A couple of bad defensive moments.

Dane Coles 8
Cut down Mumm's bid for glory, scored a try in the corner soon after. A rare footballer to be cherished.

Joe Moody 6
Proving to be a very neat low tackler. Not a lot else.

Reserves

Codie Taylor (Coles, 73m) 4
Only got the call when Coles was exhausted. Thanks coach.

Wyatt Crockett (Moody, 52m) 7
One great steal. A couple of runs.

Charlie Faumuina (Franks, 52m) 8
Big contribution to the late onslaught - one clever offload and bruising runs.

Liam Squire (Kaino, 52m) 8
Looks made for the impact game. A couple of big runs including one to set up Coles try.

Ardie Savea (Todd, 65m) 6
Didn't join the party, and one drop.

Tawera Kerr-Barlow (Perenara, 62m) 7
Tidy if unspectacular.

Aaron Cruden (Barrett, 45m) 6
Still feeling his way on return. Tried to command with his kicking, but unconvincing.

Bruising. One dimensional.

Wallabies

Israel Folau 9
Magnificent test. Constantly involved and dangerous with the ball. One memorable take.

Dane Haylett-Petty 7
'A' for effort but not a huge threat. Lots of runs. Unfair villain in Speight no-try ruling?

Samu Kerevi 5
Departed early with ankle problem after stepping around Savea, his one big moment.

Reece Hodge 5
Still getting his feet under this table. Booming boot shapes as a weapon. Dazed by Fekitoa. Errors included conceding charge down try.

Henry Speight 5
Denied a crucial try and involved in errors which conceded two tries.

Bernard Foley 9
Brilliant match apart from one horrible goal kick. Clever passes put runners into holes, brave and neat runs, even saved a try in chasing past Coles.

Nick Phipps 6
Lacked presence. Not all bad but started to unravel and scruffy pass in tackle led to Savea try.

Lopeti Timani 7
Good short charges. Might be the ball carrying No. 8 Australia desperately needs.

Michael Hooper 7
Lots of effort without setting the world on fire.

Dean Mumm 6
Is he really a test No. 6. Blew his big chance when Coles dislodged the ball.

Adam Coleman 6
Got hands on the ball but didn't go far, although one lovely offload as Australia tried to stay in the hunt.

Rory Arnold 7
Powered through Todd for a try - looks a likely lanky prospect if he can power up.

Sekope Kepu 7
Held on, just, in the scrums, and made some excellent runs.

Stephen Moore 7
The lineout was unconvincing. Huge workload with the ball from the warhorse.

Scott Sio 7
Like Kepu, overshadowed the starting All Black props around the field.
