All Blacks: Lavanini gets one week for McCaw hit

Argentina lock Tomas Lavanini will miss Saturday night's Rugby Championship test against the Wallabies on the Gold Coast after pleading guilty to foul play on All Blacks skipper Richie McCaw.

Lavanini was cited for "dangerous charging" by the SANZAR citing commissioner for not using his arms when he cleaned out McCaw in a ruck.

He's been suspended for a week.
