All Blacks: Wayne Smith gets overseas offer

All Black assistant coach Wayne Smith has confirmed that he has received an offer to coach Welsh club Ospreys.

The 51-year-old has stated an offer was on the table and he will be weighing up all his options at the conclusion of the current All Black tour.

Smith says he receives offers to ply his trade overseas on a regular basis, but there is a possibility he will accept this role.

Ospreys have been looking for a replacement for previous coach Lyn Jones since May.
