A leaky roof problem at New Plymouth's Yarrow Stadium will be investigated next week by specialist engineers.
Heavy rain exposed leaks when a $1.7 million upgrade at the stadium was completed earlier this month.
The All Blacks play Ireland at the venue in their first test of the season on June 12 while the ground is scheduled to host three pool matches during next year's World Cup.
The Taranaki Daily News reported that was unclear when the engineers' report would be completed nor if any remedial work would be carried out before the All Blacks test.
The ground has not been used for any major sporting event since Taranaki played Auckland in atrocious conditions in a national provincial rugby match on October 9.
