NRL: New recruits get taste of Eden

New Warriors recruits Shaun Berrigan, Krisnan Inu and Feleti Mateo got a rare chance to run around on the home of rugby yesterday.

The Warriors were familiarising themselves with Eden Park yesterday ahead of their opening-round NRL match against the Parramatta Eels.

The club unveiled a special limited edition strip that they will wear for the match on March 12. The jersey is all black and features silver ferns added to the club logo.

The Warriors play the third of four NRL trials against the Burleigh Bears in Whangarei on Saturday.

In two previous trials, they beat the Eels in Parramatta last week and drew with the Knights in Greymouth a week earlier.
