NRL: Locke still feeling effects of heroic try

It was one of the more spectacular moments in the NRL season and one Kevin Locke is still feeling the effects of as he prepares for tomorrow's massive NRL match against the Broncos.

Locke's back in the starting side after injury and a stint with the Auckland Vulcans.

He says the hip injury suffered in the spectacular crash into the goal post pad against the Roosters is still niggly at times.

Locke says he still feels a bit of a pinch when he's running but it's not too much of a bother.

Locke's been working on defence and making sure he stays involved in a match during his time with the Vulcans.
