Issac Luke sent a message back to his wife and his newborn daughter in Auckland hospital after he scored his first try for the Warriors last night.
Mickayela Luke gave birth to their third child this week and after scoring in the 18th minute in the Warriors' loss to Brisbane,Luke made three gestures to his wife. The first was a former letter 'M', the second was as if he was rocking a baby and he blew a kiss with the third.
After the match Luke posted images of him doing the signals on Instagram and explained that it had been an emotional week for him and Mickayela, who is a cousin of Sonny Bill Williams.
"This last week has been tough for our little family," the 28-year-old Luke wrote.
