Next week's origin decider at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane has offically been confirmed as a sell-out.
The previous attendance record for a three game Origin series was 215,883 in 2013 and the sell-out at Suncorp Stadium - which can hold 52,500 spectators - means a new record is likely tobe set.
Origin one attracted more than 80,000 fans at ANZ Stadium and a record breaking 91,513 attended Origin two at Melbourne's Cricket Ground.
NRL chief executive Dave Smith confirmed there were no more available tickets for the eagerly anticapted decider which kicks off at 10pm next Wednesday.
"We have a decider in front of a sell-out crowd at Suncorp Stadium - it doesn't get much better than that," Smith said.
"The first two games of the series have been the biggest free-to-air television shows of the year.
"Now Origin three is a sell out and we are expecting another huge television audience.
"The support for the series has been phenomenal and I'd encourage fans to watch the decider wherever they can - from the 117 countries where it will be available. "This will be a game to remember."
