Warriors centre Solomone Kata earned the wrath of his teammates after he failed to carry the ball closer towards the sticks for an easier conversion following his memorable second try against the Titans.
"I didn't have to have a word to him," said coach Andrew McFadden. His teammates let himknow.
"He was pretty happy with himself after he scored the try and rightly so but this season could be decided by small margins. I think it's fair to say he'll remember that one."
Warriors prop James Gavet has been nominated by his club for an NRL community service award.
Gavet regularly delivers food parcels to Auckland's homeless and his selfless work sees him in the running for the Ken Stephen Medal, with the winner announced at the 2016 Dally M Awards night.
Other nominees include Cronulla captain Paul Gallen, Parramatta forward Tim Mannah and Newcastle halfback Trent Hodkinson.
Nice guy Fusitu'a gets angry
David Fusitu'a is one of the Warriors most humble and polite young players but the versatile speedster showed he is not afraid to get angry when he got stuck into Titans enforcer Greg Bird last Saturday.
Bird took exception to a tackle from Shaun Johnson and connected with an open-handed punch to the No7's jaw before Fusitu'a stepped in to give him a taste of his own medicine.
Fusitu'a downplayed the altercation saying: "Shucks, I don't know...If someone did that to me on the field I'd like to think that my teammates would stick up for me too. That's just how it is."
Tevaga's try-saver
Jazz Tevaga showed why he is considered a one of the Warriors best defenders when he pulled off a try-saving tackle on Titans centre and former club mate Konrad Hurrell.
Hurrell looked set to score when he took a charging run back on the inside and steamed past one tackler before Tevaga snared him around the bootlaces just short of the try line.
"Konny's a big boy and I knew I had to go low because we all know what he's capable of," he said. "I was just doing my job."
Price is right for Roache
Warriors rookie Nathaniel Roache is romantically involved with Waikato-BOP Magic netballer Jamie-Lee Price, daughter of former club captain and Australian front-rower Steve Price.
Roache revealed the former Mt Albert Grammar classmates have been an item for almost three years, although Price resides in Hamilton through the duration of the ANZ Championship.
"We both know about professional environments and what's best for our careers and we have our time together so it's awesome," said Roache.

St Paul's College retained their SAS College League title with an impressive 23-10 win over Wesley College at Mt Smart Stadium on Wednesday.
The reigning champs were too strong for their rivals with strong ball security and completions helping them establish a 14-4 halftime lead.
St Paul's are red hot favourites heading into the upcoming National Secondary Schools Tournament which gets underway at Papakura's Bruce Pulman Park on August 29.
