Indeed, questions are being asked of why the Warriors are even pursuing the star considering his troubled 2016 season.
However, Doyle thinks there's more to Foran than what's happened off the field.
"He'll add significance to the team," Doyle said. "He'll work really well with Shaun [Johnson], he's a leader, he plays with a massive amount of passion and brings everyone along with him."
If the Warriors are to sign Kieran Foran, it would add to a string of changes made at the club since the side failed to make the top eight in the 2016 season.
Andrew McFadden was stood down as head coach this morning with Kiwis coach and World Cup winner Stephen Kearney announced as his replacement.
The Warriors have also established a football advisory board made up of various former players and ex-All Black coach Graham Henry.
