BRISBANE - The Warriors had mixed emotions last night when P. J. Marsh was called up for the Queensland State of Origin team as lock Kevin Campion was dropped.
Marsh was added to the side as hooker for the second State of Origin match against New South Wales on June 5
after a series of strong efforts for the Warriors.
Campion was one of several casualties from Queensland's 32-4 loss in game one last week, along with John Doyle, John Buttigieg and Clinton Schifcofske.
Marsh will leave for Brisbane on Wednesday and will miss the Warriors' home game with the Sharks this weekend.
Queensland may be without winger Lote Tuqiri, who is facing possible suspension.
