Brisbane star Sam Thaiday is facing a two week suspension going into the NRL finals series.
The match review committee on Monday put Thaiday on a grade two dangerous throw charge for his lifting tackle on Manly prop Brent Kite during Brisbane's 18-10 win on Sunday.
Thaiday will miss twogames if he enters an early guilty plea and risks missing an extra match in he contests the charge and loses.
Depending on how the finals unfold after the first week it could cost him a grand final appearance if he fronts the judiciary and loses.
