It's one thing being hit by a bus, quite another by Fuifui Moimoi, says Melbourne Storm prop Brett White.
With physicists providing all kinds of diagrams this week to describe the painful impact of running into the Eels front-rower, NSW rep White says he was dealt one of his biggest
physical challenges as the in-form Moimoi sought to reignite his side's NRL title chances almost singlehandedly.
The best evidence of Moimoi's determination came in the 72nd minute, when he charged over for one of the greatest front-rower's tries of alltime.
It wasn't enough, though, as Melbourne claimed a second premiership in three years, winning 23-16.
"He was fantastic," said White, who put in a battering-ram performance of his own. "He's known for his runs, but his hits - the back of my head touched my spine and it folded me in half, I think.
"It's the best game I've seen him play."
