Cooper Cronk has extended his contract with the Melbourne Storm by four years, ending months of intense speculation about his NRL future.
The keenly-sought 28-year-old halfback had been linked with moves to the Gold Coast, St George Illlawarra, South Sydney and Sydney Roosters.
Cronk made his debut for the club
in 2004 and will now be there till the end of 2016.
He is almost certain to be the starting halfback for Australia and Queensland this year.
