"I've got a job to do and if people don't want to support me while I'm doing it that is up to them."
Kieran Foran is still to decide where he will play his football in 2016.
Cherry-Evans says he feels for what his fellow premiership winning playmaker is going through.
"I can definitely see what Kieran is going through on a personal level," he said.
"But as long as Kieran knows that he has the support of his teammates and his friends and family he will sleep well at night just like I did through the whole process.
"When we are on the training paddock it doesn't come up, it's not a thought.
Obviously when you step away from the training paddock you have a bit more time to think about these things.
