"They look lost out there, they really do," Anasta said after Brisbane's last chance was basically snuffed out with poor passing with eight minutes left.
After the try, Anasta added: "The Broncos can do no right".
A 30-12 win was probably flattering for the Broncos as the Titans held on in the second half, while the Broncos scored the two tries in the second before Phillip Sami finished off the match with a stunning try in the corner against just 11 men with Corey Oates sin binned for dissent and Matt Lodge off with a knee injury and no substitutions remaining.
It's a famous win for the Titans but the Broncos season from hell has discovered a new rock bottom.
At halftime, the score was 22-0 and the Broncos were booed off the field with club legend and Fox Sports analyst Justin Hodges was left shell-shocked.
"This is the first time I've actually seen a Broncos side booed off at halftime," he said. "The fans are very angry as you could tell.
"I know there's only 10,000 here but I don't think I've ever heard a Brisbane Broncos team get booed off so you can really feel the frustration from the fans and also the players but you just understand what this football side means to this town and the boys just haven't delivered in the first 40 minutes."
It clearly got no better.
Matt Lodge also suffered a knee injury late in the game, just after the Broncos had made their last substitution.
But perhaps even more shocking was the reaction of the players post-game.
While some players were visible upset, some players including new acquisition Isaac Luke were captured smiling with the side that had just defeated them.
Fox League's Michael Ennis said it "clearly isn't hurting enough" after losses.
Social media were quick to savage the side.
Former Penrith and Cronulla prop Martin Lang said on Twitter the laughter "means they couldn't really give a s*** about the result".
NRL legend Cooper Cronk said he was "gobsmacked" by the performance.
"You talk about the structure and tactics of playing but there were stages there where the high-paid representative players just did not have a go," he said.
"They didn't have an effort that was willing enough to represent the Broncos jersey. I'm not sure that (coach Anthony) Seibold or anyone else can handle what's about to come this week because the pressure is mounting. If it wasn't big before, it's humungous now."
NRL Immortal Mal Meninga said the Broncos were "out efforted" by the Titans while Michael Ennis said "the way that they are not responding" shows there is so much wrong with the team.
"Seibold" was trending on Twitter after the game with the pressure mounting on the coach after a horrific run since the competition has returned with many pointing at the coach's position at the club.
Post-match, Seibold said the side was self-inflicing the losses with mistakes, poor decisions and ill-discipline.
"We're just really hurting ourselves with some of our errors and some of our execution in particular," he said. "I thought there was a fair bit of fight to us especially in the second half but we're just hurting ourselves."
He added that the side was putting too much pressure on themselves in attack and leaving the side struggling with energy and beating themselves.
Asked if he was worried about his own job, Seibold said "I haven't even thought about that, I'm trying to stay in the present".
He added that if he gets tapped on the shoulder he'll deal with that. But the difference between the 2-0 start before the COVID break and the five straight losses was "belief".
