The board is expected to reconvene this week to decide the pair's fate.
Proctor did not quite know what to make of Hayne's no-show.
"I'm not too sure to be honest, I know he went down to Sydney and got some treatment, but I'm not too sure if he went to the game," he said.
"Yeah I suppose (you'd like to see him there), but I'm pretty sure he had something to do with his ankle, he goes down and sees some specialist."
Wallace said he had no issue with the absence.
"I don't think it really matters," he said.
"Do we have to see him? He wasn't in the 18; I'm sure he was supporting us wherever he was.
"He wasn't playing, so if he was there with cameras everywhere it might have taken the focus off the team."
