League: Coaching candidates short-listed

The New Zealand Rugby League's Kiwi coaching selection panel has short-listed four candidates from the eight applicants.

Their names will not be revealed until the unsuccessful applicants have been notified.

Panel leader and NZRL deputy chairman Sel Bennett denied reports that it was a "done deal" already with current co-assistant James Leuluai.

The short-listed candidates will be interviewed by Friday, with a decision expected quickly after that.
