"There's (Cameron) Smith, (Greg) Inglis, (Cooper) Cronk .... some of the best players in the world and we have huge respect for them.
"It's no fluke that they've won six series in a row. But we've got a good team, a brave team, and believe we can do a job.''
Stuart gave his players Monday off after arriving in Brisbane on Sunday night following a two-hour flight delay from Sydney.
The team will go through a final work-out at Suncorp Stadium on Tuesday and Barrett said there's little more the coaching staff can do ahead of one of the most eagerly awaited Origin fixtures for years.
"We have to win at all costs. It's up to us to stop their dominance,'' he said.
"They're under just as much pressure as us. It is a big game in front of a huge crowd. There is a lot riding on it.
"They have a lot of good players, but our defence has been good. We played very well in game two and we were pretty good in game one.''
