Rugby League: Warriors to play Panthers in pre-season match

The New Zealand Warriors will get an early chance to avenge their National Rugby League semifinal loss against the Penrith Panthers next year.

The two teams will meet in a pre-season match at North Harbour Stadium on Auckland's North Shore on Sunday, February 29, Warriors general manager Spiro Tsiros said today.

After beating the Warriors, the Panthers became the NRL champions with a win over Sydney Roosters in the grand final last month.
