Rugby League: 'Forgotten man' of Warriors to play for Barrow

Cliff Beverley, who became the forgotten man of the New Zealand Warriors last season, is off to England to further his rugby league career. Five-eighth Beverley will play for the Barrow Raiders in the northern premiership. A Kiwi connection is behind the one-year deal.

The Barrow Raiders' coach, Cameron Bell, also coached the New Zealand Maori side at last year's World Cup and is a former Auckland coach. Bell, the father of Kiwi Dean Bell, is busy rebuilding Barrow and he is looking forward to Beverley's arrival.
