Rowing twins Georgina and Caroline Evers-Swindell are in line for another award to cap their remarkable careers.
The sisters, who announced their retirement last week, are on the shortlist for the International Rowing Federation's female crew of the year.
The three finalists also feature Bulgarian single sculler Rumyana
Neykova and the American crew who won the eights final at the Olympic Games in Beijing in August.
All of the finalists won gold medals in Beijing, with the Evers-Swindells defending the double sculls title they had won four years earlier at Athens.
The award winners are to be announced in Paris, France, on November 8.
