Rowing: Quadruple sculls continue silver championships

New Zealand won its third silver medal at the world championships in Lucerne, Switzerland this morning.

The women's quadruple skulls crew of Sonia Waddell, Paula Twining and the Evers-Swindell twins Georgina and Caroline finished second behind Germany.

The Olympics finished more than a length ahead of New Zealand, with the the United States in third.

It was New Zealand's third silver medal after the Evers-Swindells finshed second in the double sculls and the coxless four also won silver yesterday.

The medal tally is the country's biggest at a world championship.
