Global Glamour's stablemates Our Crown Mistress and Pinot won earlier, with Pinot taking out the group three Ethereal Stakes.
Waterhouse was naturally thrilled to see Global Glamour return a winner.
"She was a bit out of sorts months ago and she's come right around," Waterhouse said.
"It's hard when three-year-old fillies have to make the weight-for-age improvement but she has done that.
"We brought her down to Melbourne to win the Myer Classic and she's certainly on target."
Waterhouse indicated a Royal Ascot campaign could be on the radar next year depending on the mare's upcoming performances.
Victoria's premier trainer Darren Weir had four winners on the program.
Indeed Cliffs Edge could provide Weir with his first Victoria Derby runner after his all-the-way win in a lead-up race at Caulfield.
The three-year-old led home a field of Derby aspirants in yesterday's group three Caulfield Classic at his first try at 2000m.
Following his win yesterday, Cliff's Edge had his price slashed from $17 to $6 favouritism for the VRC Derby (2500m) at Flemington on November 4.
Ridden by John Allen, Cliff's Edge was sent off the favourite before scoring by 2-3/4 lengths from Tangled with Main Stage third.
Weir said Cliff's Edge was likely to head to the Derby but there was also the option of him backing up next Saturday in The Vase (2040m) at Moonee Valley.
