Toorak Tower has won three of his 13 starts and recently finished runner-up in an open 1200m heat at Avondale.
"He trialled nicely and I'm pretty happy where he's at," Logan said. "He's come through the trial very well and I've kept him fresh for this."
Meanwhile, a black type opportunity is being mulled over for Toorak Tower's promising stablemate Woodloveto.
"The St Leger at Trentham is still an option, either that or there's a 2400m race at Hawke's Bay in April," Logan said.
"He's pretty smart, but still very green. Everyone who has ridden him has said once he figures it all out he will be a serious horse."
A son of Redwood, Woodloveto has a win and two placings from five starts.
Last time out he performed creditably in Rating 75 company over 2100m when fifth at Hastings.
"I was pretty happy with the way he went when up in grade," Logan said.
"Mum bought him, but he didn't fit into the bigger environment up there [at Ruakaka] and he suits a smaller stable better," Logan said.
