An Australian campaign is not on the radar for Stolen Dance but be assured it will be eventually.
Trainer David Greene is still basking in the glory of Saturday's remarkable $100,000 Cal Isuzu Stakes win at Te Rapa.
A decision on where Stolen Dance will race in the next sixweeks will be made this afternoon.
The $200,000 Zabeel Classic is a possibility. "When we sat down and did a plan for the entire season weight-for-age racing wasn't in our plan, but she's got [to the top] so quickly it has to be considered now," said Greene.
"We either run in the Zabeel Classic or give her a brief freshener and take her to Wellington for the Thorndon Mile," he said.
"If she goes to the Thorndon she will go into it fresh, she won't race before then."
One of the appealing elements of this win was the excitement it created within David Greene. Generally a careful, studious type, he was fair bubbling. Only top class racehorses can do that to you.
"She is a winner," Greene gushed after Stolen Dance overcame what initially looked like an impossible task. "She just finds a way to win."
