"Whatever he does he will improve, but he is good enough to feature," James said.
He also has future staying prospects Howland and Cool Tart to kick off new campaigns in the same event.
O'Reilly four-year-old Killarney, a brother to his multiple winning stablemate Gracehill, will debut in the Te Kauwhata Tavern 1200.
He has won his only trial and will be ridden by Vinnie Colgan while Sam Spratt is on Doubtless Bay in the Distinction Hamilton $5KPunters Challenge 5 Nov @ Te Rapa 1200.
James has high future hopes for Amazing Lady, who will make her four-year-old debut in The Yardhouse Bar 1400.
"She needs further, she's very much a staying mare," he said. "I wouldn't be expecting huge things of her at 1400 metres."
