For co-trainer Wayne Hawkes, the Futurity was easy to watch.
"When he was coming to the corner with a lapful of horse you knew they were in trouble," Hawkes said.
The Hawkes Racing team decided on a weight-for-age campaign in Melbourne for the star colt in the early part of the autumn and his Futurity success backed up his win two weeks earlier in the group one C F Orr Stakes.
He joined champion Manikato as the only horse to win the Caulfield Guineas in the spring and then claim the Orr Stakes-Futurity double in the autumn.
Hawkes said the colt was working his way into the elite class.
"He's not the elite yet but he's certainly heading towards it, that's for sure and certain," Hawkes said.
Melbourne Cup winner Green Moon finished fourth.
Meanwhile, inexperienced jockey Lauren Stojakovic has been rewarded for a copybook ride with victory on Miracles Of Life in the $1 million Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield.
Riding in the biggest race of her career, Adelaide-based Stojakovic held her nerve to win Victoria's richest two-year-old race.
Miracles Of Life began safely from an inside draw that some pundits thought could have worked against her chances.
But any concerns vanished before the home turn when Stojakovic calmly eased her mount into the clear and into a position to challenge.
Miracles Of Life pounced quickly to establish a decisive margin over her rivals and then held off the placegetters Fast 'N' Rocking and Godiva Rock to keep an unbeaten record in the $1 million race.
"That was a ten out of ten ride," trainer Dan Clarken said.
