The Sunday guaranteed terminating $50,000 TAB 6's at the Auckland greyhounds has been extended to each Sunday during August. Here's a run down on some of tomorrow's leading contenders.
Leg 1 - 4:11pm: The recent Australian imported chaser Dyna Joe stylishly opened his NZ winning account at Cambridge on Thursdayand the field he meets here is no stronger. Miss Jetsun was gallant in delivering her second last Sunday.
That was a bold effort that Excusable produced here two races ago behind a handy type. Hair He Is won soundly enough last week to suggest that he can handle the rise in class he faces here.
Leg 2: Have A Yap expanded her current winning streak at Manukau to eight last week and she's poised to make it nine straight tomorrow. If you want some insurance then take a look at Nonna's Girl who has won all three of her races from the one-trap.
Leg 3: Gemz found the 375m trip a tad too far at Cambridge on Thursday, so the 318m dash here will be more to her liking. Primed To Dash jumps from the one-trap from where she can boot up along the rail.
Red Rules generally finds the line strongly so consider him owing to that.
Leg 4: Punk Dino was game when sprinting into second on Thursday and she's quite capable of going one better here. Lennonville won well enough on Sunday to suggest that he can cope with the class rise he faces tomorrow. Kerrie's Fantasy will enjoy exiting from the ace-trap here.
Leg 5: John Deed is race fit and match hardened after his 603m staying win last Sunday, plus he will appreciate leaping from the one-trap here. Kilara's Fancy was brave when running second to Have A Yap last week, while Yambla Bob and Emblazing are recently downgraded open-class chasers.
Leg 6: This is the real headache leg where most in this field could win without surprising.
In no particular order consider Play The Whistle, Miss Arkansas, Corporal Jones, Five Kay Kat, Expenditure and even second reserve Aston Red if he's required.
