Aimee Taylor has a royal chance at Otaki today to go one better on the capable mare Dame Margot.
The 23-year-old is enjoying by far her best season with 17 wins on the board and in December she celebrated a career high with her first black type success.
Apprenticed toGraeme and Debbie Rogerson, she partnered the stable runner Whistling Dixie to victory in the Group 3 Eulogy Stakes at Awapuni during the Manawatu Christmas carnival.
Taylor has made frequent and rewarding trips to the Central Districts this term and on a previous visit she rode Dame Margot to a close second at Otaki where they will be reunited in today's Carters Ashhurst Pohangina Cup.
