Lisa Allpress pulled the right rein when she opted to partner Coldplay in the main event at Awapuni yesterday.
The Wanganui jockey took major honours aboard the Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained filly in the group three Lawnmaster Eulogy Stakes.
Allpress had also been offered the ride on Roger James'
Cool Tart, who finished fifth, but settled on Savabeel's daughter Coldplay.
She had broken her maiden under Opie Bosson three starts back before an unplaced run at Ellerslie last month.
"I spoke to Opie at the races on Thursday at Hawke's Bay and he said she had been unlucky at her last start and thought she could win," Allpress said.
