Racing: Champion Sunline draws well

Sunline was one of the few fancied runners to come up with a decent barrier draw for Saturday's $150,000 Mudgway Partsworld Stakes.

Cent Home, the possible main danger to the favourite, drew the horror 15 gate, and Leica Guv is in 14, Camacho drew 13, Pure Theatre 11 and Conquistar 16.

Sunline has drawn 2.

Her connections would probably have preferred her to come out of gate 5 or 6 to prevent the possibility of being boxed in early from the wider horses coming across, but the Takanini mare should be safe enough.

The Hastings track continued to dry yesterday and will be no worse than easy if the fine weather holds until Saturday as predicted.
