Benzini enjoyed a lucrative three-start campaign at the 2016 Queensland winter carnival and he is likely to return there later this year.
"He did well and we'll probably look at going back with him again," said Bull, who trains the gelding.
Benzini picked up group three placings in the Premier's Cup and the Tatt's Cup and in between he claimed the group two Brisbane Cup.
Meanwhile, his promising younger stablemate William Wallace is making good progress toward a return to racing during this month's Wellington Cup carnival at Trentham.
"He's had a few gallops and he's coming up well," Bull said. "He is still a bit green and needs more racing."
William Wallace was unplaced on debut at Waverley in the spring before the son of Darci Brahma headed south.
The four-year-old duly broke his maiden at Ashburton.
He won again on the opening day of the New Zealand Cup carnival and finished runner-up behind the impressive Margarita Mover on the closing day.
