"I'm really happy with him. His work has been good and he came through his last race really well.
"It's good to be in one of the early spring three-year-old races with a live chance."
The San Domenico (1100m) at Rosehill is an open betting race with six of the nine runners at single figure odds.
Windjammer, a $7 chance, is the only horse to have raced this season, with the remainder resuming from juvenile campaigns.
Baker says that is in his colt's favour.
"The others are the Australian cricket team of the spring. They still need to score and he's got the runs on the board," he said.
