Brisbane trainer Desleigh Forster will saddle her first Ramornie Hcp runner at Grafton tomorrow, confident Adebisi's first-up record can give him an edge in the famous country sprint.
The 5-year-old hasn't raced since the end of March, when he was injured during his attempted defence of the Bribie Hcp at
Eagle Farm.
The listed Ramornie (1200m) is to be the springboard for what Forster hopes will be another successful campaign in the southern states.
Adebisi had his first trip away from Queensland in December, winning the Razor Sharp at Warwick Farm in Sydney before winning the Rubiton Stakes in Melbourne on his way to finishing fifth in the Oakleigh Plate.
Both races were at Caulfield where Forster said he didn't handle the home turn, leading to a run at Grafton, rather than Saturday's Sir John Monash Stakes.
