Glamour takes centre stage at Karaka Million

Former model Rachel Hunter and All Black lock Ali Williams were among the crowd at the Karaka Million racing event yesterday.

Punters gathered at the Ellerslie Racecourse for the annual event, held over the Auckland Anniversary Weekend.

The event is known not only for the races, but also as a glamorous occasion where celebrities can be spotted.

Dressed in a simple grey dress tied in the front, Hunter smiled and chatted happily with punters while sipping on champagne.

She is in the country for the launch of her new fashion collection - the Rachel Autumn range - with bargain store The Warehouse.
